“ Went to this El Torito for my grandsons birthday last week and everything was great. For some reason I love the Mexican rice there and their chips and salsa are worth beating up your relatives over. I ate so many chips that when the food showed up I was almost full. Luckily our server Juan hooked us up with plenty of salsa. Dude was on his game too, quick with refills and service. The food was better than my old El Torito in Santa Monica that may not be there anymore. I got the enchiladas suizas, my favorite plate there. And I got a monster Cadillac margarita that was very good. Sadly, the economy is hurting lots of big restaurants and I hope these guys can survive the Biden economy. We're heading into a whole new era where peace and prosperity will hopefully reign supreme once again. Yes, I had to go there. Since you didn't pay to read my excellent review (among my dozens), know that I only bother to leave good reviews for servers and restaurant managers that take care of business. I never talk bad about places that don't cut it because there's many a small business people who don't need their dreams trash talked. There should be an entry into the Book of Men to avoid any cow that leaves bad reviews on sites like this. Miserable people who aren't worth the price of a taco and who probably can't cook top ramen are here talking trash about food not being perfectly at temperature and talking about store bought this and that? Puhhhh leeze.... Most likely they couldn't afford a happy meal and trying to eat at a decent restaurant set them back badly. Get a man who can afford to pay, heifer. And oh.... Did I mention this place has dancing every so often? I don't know the particulars but I have always appreciated the old school Mexican restaurants that have dancing at night. They're a dying breed so let's support the few that still jam for us. I'm way out in Inglewood but if I could, I'd visit this ElTor at least once a week. That dang salsa...... ”
